The future starts with Little Debbie

Electric Runabout Conversions was created after the conversion of a 1960 Glastron runabout, Little Debbie, to electric by James and Belinda Black, with the intention of encouraging and educating others about the benefits of electric boating.

Mission:

To introduce 100% electric retrofit of inboard and outboard runabouts and similarly-sized vessels to the public.

Goals:

  • Zero emission, reducing global impact from recreational boating

  • Preserve the vintage look while using cutting edge technology for a sustainable boating experience

  • Enjoy dramatically-reduced maintenance of a vintage motor converted to 100% electric propulsion
